ME AND YOU

I can attest to all of these this morning. . . yep. . . everything is working just fine.

How about this cake for the summer time.     Looks good enough to eat.     Jennifer came up with this picture and said she would probably make it this summer . . . all I have to do is find out when and stop by . . . or maybe I'll try making it myself.   Looks like it is the right kind of sugar to put into your body.

Here it is Monday all over again, how lucky we are.   A new week, a new beginning of getting everything in order starting with our attitude and working up to catching up on our chores or work.    Two of the Seventh Day Adventist stopped by to say hello on Saturday and shared a word or two.  They leave me with the booklets to read and I glance at them and wonder as this week it was all about domestic violence....two words that should not be in our vocabulary.     This violence has no place in our lives as it speaks of illness not easily cured and a way of life much to frightening to even think about.   Most of us 'roll with the punches', as the old adage says;  we learn early to take our lumps as they come and get over it.  We learn early to be the best we can be so that we bring out the best in others.     When you go by a church today, take a minute to go in and kneel down, say a prayer for those in need, especially those who are suffering from the hand of another.     You have no idea of the example you set by the way you live . . . how lucky you are to be a shining example of living in faith, hope and love.    No wonder you have smiling eyes and kind hearts. . . it's no wonder you are all my favorite folks . . . true folks who really know how to look for that tiny spark in your fellow man and bring out the best in them.     And thanks for the kind words, it just gets more words from me as I puff up like a balloon and sail up and off with thoughts of what musings I can come up with to make your day and mine.      Hugs to all.
