Ideas/Ideals

"Daylight Shades"
Night time blackness begins to fade/ as darkness lightens towards day
The Sun is rising in the skies/ light begins to rise.
The mist of clouds begin to move
thickening as they move in waves
a band of yellow, the awesome blue,
teal in color, so soft in hue.
The mixture stirs and the colors change,
bright reds and golden shades,
sparks of purple, a bit of green
a sunrise beautiful and serene.
A brand new day to celebrate
God's wondrous surprise
a magnificent painting in our skies.

What a wonderful and clever idea.    I will try this next time I buy a large orange or a grapefruit.   A delightful aroma to make the taste buds come alive.

Speaking of taste  . . . how about making an apple pie enchilada.    This was on Facebook yesterday.   All you need is a 21oz. can of apple filling , 6 (eight-inch_ flour tortillas and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.....and I'd add a pinch of nutmeg.    Might make a tasty snack.

Never thought of this.   Sure looks strange and funny.   Looks like a nudist colony group.

Another reminder of what 'Socialism' can and will do . . . the rich get richer and the poor get poorer . . . we don't want it;  we don't need it and we need to know the difference between a hand down and a hand up.

Wednesday, Hump Day, a day to catch up with yourself.     The joys and sorrows of living are set for the day and each of us will find out what is in store for us.     Don't forget to light a candle and think about the wounded from the bombing in Boston who have to pick up the pieces and get back on their path again, some without limbs; others to be buried along with a tiny young boy who died in innocence.   As one friend said yesterday, 'our world is full of evil' so let us ask for the goodness to shine out of each one of us and take one step at a time to change and turn everything around.    Yep, it starts with us . . . one step at a time, with a smile in our eyes, love in our hearts, patience and fortitude and as the old adage goes, 'we can lick the world with one hand behind us' ;   we always have, so now isn't the time to be shy and withdrawn . . . stand up and be counted as a harbinger of right and wrong.   .   Hugs to all.
